Shifter Changeover C5 to C6
To change over a C5 shifter to a C6 shifter GM Parts House (Gene Culley) sells a C6 shifter Kit, which includes shifter,shift ****, and bolt,no boot.
Do i require bolts,washers,gaskets or any other parts for the change over?

One tip, at least what I did. Turn the boot inside out and carefully remove the glue at the top of the boot. Push the new know into the boot and get an o-ring that will snap the boot into the groove of the ****. Then once the shifter is in, slide the **** into the shifter, install the screw and turn the boot right side out and snap back into the console. I did three this way and it seemed to work great.
