Both could be possible. We are messing around with the engraving program. When the prototype is done I will install it and post pics. If we can dial in a good Z06 engravement in the computer that will be pretty easy too. I'll keep you all posted

I had the large rolled Z06 plate with the stock Ti, which is barely okay for the new stingers. But yours sounds perfect.
Whatever design you decide on I await the good word.

I agree - if you're moving (hell, even if you're idling), they'll hear the roar of the stingers before they even catch a glimpse of the monster tips :)

Someone put a video of their new Stinger installation out on the Z06 post................ it sounds like a track car!! Has anyone on this thread checked it out ??

That's awesome video. and a good representation of the sound of the Stingers on either a Z or a regular C5. Mine sounds a race car when you go WOT thru 2nd and 3rd, music to my ears :) Just have to get rid of that popping on decel :)

Look at the picture from Fast Lane one thread upwards. The shiny thing left bottom is the muffler.

PS: Excuse me horsepower, but there is a muffler, isn´t it? Allthough the pipe goes straight through it. :D

Any news on the plate to fill the stinger gap?
Yes...We are still working on the plate. We made one out of sheet metal to get the fit down. Now we are using a 1/2 thick aluminum for the exhaust plate. I should have some pictures of the aluminum plate up next weekend and when it is chromed I will have that picture up a few days later.
Again, the Stinger exhaust plate idea is to tie to gether both tips just behind the tip weld mark. by clamping the exhaust plate to the tips we are hoping it will reduce the tip shaking. Originally I wanted to create a bracket to mount it to the frame (which would completely get rid of shaking) but the frame above is too thin. Visually this exaust plate will cover the ENTIRE rear section even on the outer side of the tips. I will post pics as soon as possible and I am trying to make the fabrication process simple enough that I can reproduce a bunch for anyone else who wants one. Keep your eyes peeled :cheers:
