Manifold to H-pipe connection different between years?

Manifold to H-pipe connection different between years?
I know some setups had the "pup" cats and the LS1 vs LS6 manifold changed as far as materials. And I know the Air tubes were changed. But do the midpipes bolt right up between the different years? For example, would a 97 manifold bolt right onto an 04 with the exception of the air tube and dip stick thing?
I've searched and searched and all I get are threads detailing the air tube differences and the cat configuration. I just wanna know if they'll actually bolt up. Thanks in advance for any help

Short answer. No.
I think there are three different configuration. I remember reading this, but I didn't save the link. The midpipe needs to match the manifolds being used. Not sure which years are compatible. I'll try to find the link.

There are several different options and Im SURE that the early cars will not fit the older cars. In fact,, I just installed a complete 2002 ZO6 OEM exhaust on my buddys 2000 today. He loved the results.
