Does anyone have an "exploded view" of the tire pressure sensor and how it is mounted. I have a slow leak around one of mine where it meets the wheel. Is their an o-ring I could replace? I have tried tightening it but it always ends up leaking again.

I'd try tightening valve stem and replace the o-ring.

Just get #9 o-rings from Lowes or Home Depot. They work fine. You will have to take it to a tire shop to get it replaced, since the o-ring fits on the inside of the wheel.

I think this is the view you are looking for:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...build-kit.html

Then scroll to post #10. Early TPMS had the O'Ring that can be replaced.

Are you are certain the leak is at the TPMS mounting and not an issue with the tire???

Yes it s leaking around the valve stem. I checked it with water. I have tried to tighten it up but it is worse than ever now. Off to Home Depot! Thanks for the link with pictures!
