Looking at the schematic further I dont see how his grounds would come into play with the brights not working in this situation. If his high beam indicator is not coming on in the dash there is a problem at the switch or close to it.
To the OP...does the high beam indicator not come on with either position? If the indicator does not come on with either position, then the signs would point to the switch being bad, as the power for the low beam and the high beam regardless of flash to pass or normal high beam comes from the 20A breaker.
Also, do you have auto headlamps?

Settle down guys...! LOL!!! I know I asked for more information Lucky, but the reason I did is because I cant read a schematic. I need to learn how, but the one friend who could teach me is doing a lot of traveling.
Nver2loud, what you are saying makes sense. No, the highbeam indicator does not come on. My thinking is that it is the switch too, but, I dont want to spend 120 - 150 without knowing for sure. I think I hsould go through the schematic, just dont know how.
Do you have a meter to test items at the switch? You could also apply a temporary fused power source to the correct wires and see if the brights will turn on, which they should. If that is the case, you could either a. purchase a new switch, or b. do some searches on here and see if anybody has a writeup on how to repair one. It cant be that difficult to repair, somewhat like the ignition switch.
