DTC throwing code P0410, Tried shooting air check valve with WD40, still throwing code. Question, can getting a "TUNE" be causing this?
No, but you can have the code tuned out. A P0410 suggests both banks are not responding. While it's possible to have two bad check valves, it's not probable.....rather.....it's the air pump, control valve, or vacuum solenoid. Do a search for "P0410".....you'll find all the troubleshooting you need.
Ok, Just finished re-reading various posts related to AIR PUMP. My understabding is that the air pump kiks in when the engine is still cold or just warming up. I throw code P0410 after 30+ minutes ruinning time. PS, only have 9K on odometer.

First, check your battery to ensure it hasn't leaked acid everywhere. To check this, you will need to remove the battery and look underneath it for evidence of a battery leak. This happened to me, the acid ate through the air pump vacuum line, and caused my 0410 code. Good luck!

I was just thinking the same thing. With 9K on the clock I'm guessing there's a good chance you still have the original battery right? Definitely check that area and report back. Are you getting any other codes besides the 0410?
