Easy fix, your car thinks you have a massive leak and is sending your PCM to reduced power mode. Your bringing in alot more air now and it is freaking out. Some cars do this some don't, but it is a easy fix. You will need tuning software though. If you can find someone with EFI Live or HP Tuners tell them to go to Engine Diagnostics/General/Calc Airflow and increase across the board, go up 25% untill it stops going to limp mode. Your still going to need tuning but this will allow the car to run and drive for the time being.

Your saying you had the codes 1515 and 1516? What did you do?

Good to hear!! Glad it worked out. I still need to find out if this is a tuning issue or mechanical OR a bad sensor in the TB
REP = Reduced Engine Power.

I ordered a LS1 to LS2 Throttle body adapter from FAST. Spent the entire day with the tuner yesterday. Could not get the codes to go awway. Everytime we went WOT it would go to Reduced Engine power. the problem is the computer is not seeing both throttle position sensors and shuts down thinking there is a problem.

I have gotten tired of this four month ordeal and decided that the small amount of HP loss going back to the LS6 throttle body was not worth the continued aggrevation.

Had to do a little grinding on the adapter plate to get it to fit but all is working great and I picked up 37 HP with the proted 92 FAST. I could find no one with the 98 that had success.

Good luck to you and let us know if you are able to get it resolved.
I will be looking forward to it.
