Default Installing Fast 90..Need help

Well I did the hard part, at least in my eyes. I got the old intake off and got to looking at the valley to put the low pro bolts and the lines sit higher than the bolts!!

Ive followed this thread--http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-tech/1819422-installing-the-fast-90-90-at-0830-hrs-today-2.html

and still have questions like That "relocation point", Dont I just pop the piece back in the same place I took it out of on the old intke? In the thread above its on the front.
Another thing, when I test fir the Fast theres a huge gap between the heads, am I missing something?

Im gonna go continue putting the bolts in while I wait for replies

Thanks in advance!

TTT- I forgot to add that these pics taken were with the Low pro Valley bolts. I push on the intake ( not in pics) and that gap is maybe half that in the photo's

This seems like it should be cut and dry, If I'm making an obvious mistake, please let me know, Seeing that there's been 19 views already seems like Im doing something dumb?

Are you talking about the coolant lines that run under the manifold?

Yea those lines stick up past the bolts, I didnt know if they created a problem, and I definitely wasnt about to try and tighten down the intake to close up the gap

Yeah not a good idea. You can tap the lines down carefully or buy the lines that came on the 01-04 Corvettes. I think the DIY you used says somthing about him having to hit the lines with a hammer to make them clear.

Just try not to go crazy. They shouldnt have to move very much. Just a tap then check to see if it fits and so on.

It makes it easy to get to. I'm going to move mine up front once I pull my FAST to do my head swap.

I checked your profile. Says you have a 2000 C5. I am getting ready to install a Fast 102 and was just reading the directions. Under the Required Modifications section it says Quote "The rear coolant vent line on 1997-2000 Corvette and 1998-2000 Camaro/Firebird. located in the valley, must be replaced to clear your new high performance manifold. Replace with GM part number 12568478 front only crossover, and (2) 12563325 plugs. Torque Vent Pipe bolts to 12N/m (106 INCH/lbs)". Hope this helps. If others have just bent them down and got by with it. I guess you can try that. I am going to get the recommended parts myself. Hope this helps.

I realized I may have not been clear becuase The Oil Pressure sensor is moved from behind the intake as well. I meant the MAP sensor. Is It something that goes bad?

Ok ran into another problem

You guys know how the Ls1 TB has the coolant line that runs through it. ls2 Doesnt,no big Right? Well I go to run the line from the radiator to the Valley lines. Too short!!

So then I go to buy a line to fit the Valley lines, Get home to the install and the Inner Diameter is Different on the radiator fitting than the Valley line!!! WHYY!!!!! This makes it so complicated.

If anyone has a fix or anything, please let me know !

Thanks

Do you have the stock air intake accordian connected to the 90mm TB? Did you use an adapter for the TPS? If so, did you check it with a meter (wire for wire) before connecting?

Ok, I didn't know you could get a small TB tube to seal properly to a 90mm

....and gains? I wouldn't even drive it with those codes.....let alone worry about gains. So again, the question...did you check the harness with a meter before connecting it? Theses harnesses are notorious for being pinned up wrong.
