Default Dang! Won't Start! Won't Move!
Today, started and backed out of parking place. Put it in Drive and nothing happened. Pushed the car back into parking place and turned off engine. Would not restart.

Trans shifter feels like nothing is attached.

Anyone have a similar experience?

Put it in Drive...... Sounds like an AUTOMATIC that the shift cable came loose or broke. Pull the console and see whats up!!

Turns out it was the dreaded broken transmission shift cable. After a tow and $350, it is fixed and wonderful again!
