I dont drive my Vette everyday, but after about 5-6 days of not driving it my battery is dead. Never did this before. I did install the iPod plug in the back of the radio and heard that some people says it drains your battery. My question is, is there a way to see or check what is draining your battery? Any info will be nice, Thanks!
Awesome guys! Thanks! It sucks jumping it off everytime I wanna drive it. And my battery is in the trunk so I gotta crawl through my cage to get to the battery, glad im a little guy.
If it turns out to be the Ipod, here is a link that contains the info on how to bypass the Ipod draining the battery...... It's toward the end of the info in the link:

Hi,
I had the same problem. It is the IPod harness that you plug into the back of you radio. The power wire continues to stay on with the key off to keep the Ipod charged and powered. I cut that wire and ran it to a wire the is on only when the ignition is on. Problem fixed. There is a post in the audio section about how to do it, that where
I learned.

I have a I pod conversion in my 2000. When I am not using the car I keep it pluged in to a batery tender. Never have a problem and the battery is always fully charge and ready to go. It also extends the life of the battery.

Is there anyway you can send me the link to what wire you cut to your iPod harness. I cannot find it any where. I dont have the extra plug like the other link has. Thanks for your help.

Here you go Byran! Scroll down the photos and you'll see which wires to switch.
Thanks man for taking the time to find that for me. But my problem is I don't have the extra plug. Not sure why I don't. Guess I can charge my battery and put my ampmeter on it amd see what wire is on. Thanks again for taking time to find that link.
Anybody have any solutions? Thought about finding the wire that is always on and splicing into a on/off wire on the Vette. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks
