Default Gear Puller

Can anyone tell me what size jaws on a gear puller are needed to be able to pull the crank sprocket.
Thanks

Default puller tricks and comments

I've done my share of gear pulling. All I can say is that you need a decent variety of pullers and adapters; and you have to make do. Never pull it ad-hoc; you need a solid connection or something will slip and break. Sometimes you have to make up an auxiliary plate and bolt, slide behind, or otherwise connect it to the gear and then pull the plate.

I've never done the crank pulley on the vette. But if you can take a quick photo or two and send it to me maybe I can help. Email to richard.e.marks@sbcglobal.net

I'm trying to get all I need ahead of time. Since this is not your old run of the mill small block that is still stout in todays performance world. You didn't have to contend with an oil pump drive and pull both. My small puller doesn't appear to be large enough and wanted info on a size so I can be prepared.
Thanks for the advise.
