Anyone running this combo??
I have a EPS cam 226/234-598/601on 113 in my wife' car. I am installing 64cc AFR 205s with stock MLS gaskets.
Anyone running this combo or close, and have any PV clearence issues?
Can't imagne having any issues with this small of a cam, but wanted to check ahead to do some pre-planning.
Great cam choice--It is on the upper end side of a medium mild cam--Deff. will require tuning--and will NOT pass smog on the rollers--better valve springs of course- Check with the cam manufacturer about PV clearance---But It *should* be OK----
I think you're leaving some on the table by going with 64cc heads. Personally, I'd shave the heads to bump the compression a little which will give you more power everywhere in the RPM range.

The heads were milled to 64 by AFR. I thought about milling to 62, but:
1. didn't really think 2 cc would make that much difference in overall hp (could be wrong) My Darts are 62 and the comp bump was noticable
2. If I was close on PVC, I didn't want to make matters worse. (I REALLY don't want to flycut)
I do my own tuning, and I've got the cam REALLY dialed in. I want to take it to a dyno before the head swap, but dynos are 2+ hr drive from me.
The valve spring are supposed to be good to 650 lift. I have CC 918s on it right now, so I can swap them over if I need to.
