I am trying to replace the radiator on my 1998 and have disconnected the wiring harness from the fan shround but cannot get the shroud to seperate from the radiator. Are there bolts attaching this or how do I do this. Thanks

You need to lift up on the A/C condenser about 1 1/2" to get the tabs to clear the slots on the rad. After you lift up just lower the condenser down while pushing it a little forward so it won't go back into the slots.

Default screw this

I'm fed up. Are you people all acrobatics? I'm pretty nimble I think. The Fan shroud is almost impossible to remove/insert. There are a million hoses with almost 0 space to access. Half the work has to be done under the car. The shroud wont budge unless you almost bend the damn thing. Next time: drop it off at the mech, let him deal with ******** 'new' car space constraints, spend day doing something pleasant. I enjoyed fixing cars 20 years ago when there was ample space. In the meantime, I'm done with this.

Default How do you "lower the vehicle"

...after you have already lowered the vehicle?

Read each step carefully and you will understand what I am saying. Pretty funny actually.

I was reading that thread and saw that one of them was from me over a year ago. Makes me remember, last year someone send me a PM about a thread I posted over 10 years ago about replacing a blower motor on a C3, I had clear the cob webs on that one.
