cam 2001 z06

Hi all, I;m new here , but would like your advice , I have a 2001 Z06 and would like to put a cam in it , can this be done with the motor in the car ? and what would be a good cam choice ? I would like something lumpy , but isn't a bitch to tune ? thanks

I have an 02 Z06 and I picked the Texas Speed 228R cam. I hope I complete the project this coming weekend. I did it in my garage and left the hood on. It's not that hard just need to take your time and make sure everything is right. Check out the LS1Tech.com forum for Gen III LS Internal forum. Those guys have been alot of help. Also check out LS1HowTo.com. Good info there also. Some guys don't like the LS1HowTo site but it's been very helpful for me. And as always the guys on this forum are always very helpful.

I have 01 Z06 as well, i just completed my H/C project last week went with 243 ported heads and TSP Torquer Cam V2, pretty aggressive Cam but with my half azz tune i dialed to some extent to drive nice, still need pro tune though.

I have a 228/232 .585/.595 113 LSA brand new Cam let me know if you are interested.

I am doing a torquer 2 on monday. I hear a lot of th zo6 crowd is doing the torquer 3.

Hi there. I too have an 01 ZO6 and i have a TSP 233/239 113LSA that i havent installed yet. Very excited to have the work done. Hope to have it in by summer.
