I do all mine on jack stands. The header part is NOT difficult. If it were me,,, I would install the headers my self. Secure the mid pipes so they dong drag and drive the car to a muffler shop for cut and connect. Cant be more than $100.
This is my C6 header install but, the C5 was very very similar:
Just do as much of the work your self and pay for the stuff you do not have the capabilities for.
