This winter I've started seeing my brake system warning light pop up on the IPC, usually on accelaration, both in a straight line and in a turn (e.g. turning onto a highway).
One time was exceptionally strange. Turning off of a gravel driveway, the warning light came on, then, while accelerating in a straight line, the Active Handling system went berserk, applying brakes on both the left and right sides, then the DIC gave a "Active Handling" error message. I cycled power on the car, and never had another problem.
Here's the crazy part: no error codes!. No PCM or TCS messages, none! There were codes in the other systems, but I cleared all those out, and have experienced the Brake warning light momentarily coming on, and absolutely zero codes through the DIC.

Any ideas?
TIA, and have a good one,

Have you checked the fluid level in the master? A number of things will turn the sight on. Low fluid, bad level sensor, wiring issue, or e-brake.
The brake warning light only comes on intermittently, and only for a few seconds. The sensor is definitely not in a hard failure mode.
Ok, there just isn't too much to look at here. You can disconnect the sensor, and drive the car. If the light does not come back on, then the switch is flaky. If it does, then you have an issue with the e-brake, or wiring to the level switch.
I have experienced the same thing since last spring with it increasing ie I dont have to accelerate as had to come on, figured the sending unit, good fluid level, its a winter project I have not yet gotten to. I have never had it come on in braking only acceleration. I can't do any road test for a couple more months to much snow.
