oil in my starter!!!
Why would I have oil in my starter? Where is this leak? I had an oil change in the early fall and within days there was oil on the floor of the garage. Put it on the lift checked the filter but no fix. Then started having starting problems but did not connect the two. Two weeks ago car just would not start. Sat for a few days and then started right up. Drove it to work and would not start. Ended up towing to dealership. They trace it to the starter and find it full of oil. Is this the rear main seal leaking or what?

I'd say that would be an unlikely candidate. No one can guess this one for you. The best thing to do, is degrease the engine in that area, an look to see where oil starts to leak, and possible paths for it to migrate to the starter. If the starter is soaked, it's most likely coming from above......not behind.

The rear cover seal is most likely leaking on the passengers corner.. It's closer to the starter and if its leaking it could cause oil to drip in that area. Good luck. Its very labor intensive to repair that issue.
I agree,, start up high and look for leaks at Oil pressure sensor
