Default Long Tube Header Question

I'm looking at buying LG Street Long Tube headers and I'm wondering if the headers need to be removed when pulling the Torque Tube or working on the clutch?

In other words, is there enough room around the headers to get at the tunnel plate screws and front Torque tube bolts? I realize that the x-pipe needs to be removed.

Thanks!

Yes there is enough room to remove the bolts from the tunnel plate & t/tube.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm glad to hear that I can remove the Torque Tube and hopefully the bell housing without taking off the headers. I looked at the install instructions for the headers and they talk about removing the alternator and passenger valve cover. Not a big deal but I don't want to have to deal with that and everything related to dropping the power train.

Not so sure about bell removal & leaving the headers on.

Hate to tell you this, but you're probably going to have to unbolt the headers from the heads and let them hang in order to get enough clearance to get the bell housing off. When I did the clutch job on my car a few years back, it had Dynatech LT's on it which are similar in length and size to the LG's, I had to unbolt the LT's and let them hang there in order to get the bottom cover off the bell housing. If you are doing a clutch replacement, you don't need to take the bell housing off, you can do all the work necessary with just the bottom cover removed.
