Figuring out the clutch release for a good launch is always tough with a new clutch. Keep working on it and you'll be fine.

I believe that is because the MN12 and 3.42 gears have a final drive ratio very close to 3.90. So technically you dont need gears in a Z06.

Ive also read in the past that 4.10s and an MN6 match up perfectly, hence recommended for N/A cars heads and cam 346s.

4.10 gears were worth the investment. I picked up 2 mph and 0.3 at the 1/4 mile. Running 12.7@109mph with a crappy 1.9 60ft. i believe the car can run 12.4-12.5 with some more seat time and better 60ft. Big improvement for the $.
