Your best gains are probably going to depend on your tune. I know with my LS6 with just a K&N intake and mufflers, I'm nearing 90% injector DC with +/- 0.2% LTFT's. A bigger manifold might make me go static, so consider injectors? Maybe some guys with manifold experience can chime in.
The Weiand/Lingenfelter looks a little more like the stock intake and the internals are a little better than an LS6. I picked up some power on my last car when I switched from LS6 to the Weiand with no porting. No I don't have the slip anymore as that was back in 2004.
i went from ls1 to bbk 85mm with a 85mm throttle body. got it tuned and he said from all the tunes he has done he has noticed that bbk is slightly better then ls6 probably the bigger opening.
