The "kit

The "kit" is a set of bolts and I believe shorter bushings. That simply allow you to lower the car lower then the stock bolts will allow.

I would use the stock bolts first, drive it a little so it will settle down and the decide if you want it lower.........................

You can also trim bushings to lower it further. Be sure to get a alignment

Are you referring to the front or rear of the car?

The rear "kits" are nothing but longer grade 8 bolts and nylock nuts.....things that you can get at a hardware supply house for about 1/3 the cost of the "kits".....

The difference is the cost of the so called lowering kit, you can lower the car excessively with the OEM bolts. There is no need for the longer lowering bots.

The ride quality will suffer especially if you have F45 or F55 shock systems. Max on stock bolts is pretty low. You can and will bottom out stock shocks and really handle like crap if you drive corners hard.

I have the F-45 set up on my car (don't ask why...) and I'm lowered on the stock bolts, however I installed poly spring bushings in the rear. I don't think it rides all that badly.
