What timing set do you guys prefer?
Im doing a cam swap soon and I cant decide on a timing set. What have you guys used with success?

I've always used Comp double rollers on all the motors I build. I think I paid $115 shipped for mine. I've had it on for about 3 years.

Use the LS2 and avoid any clearance issues with the double roller chain.

Im getting a melling oil pump and they said it wont clear a double roller, I was leaning towards a cloyes.

New GM gears and a Katech C5R chain. No oil pump spacers needed, no clearance issues, and no failures.

I had the Melling high pressure oil pump with LS2 chain and no problems. Be careful with the oil pump gasket if it's your first cam swap.
