I recently got a set of C5 Z06 wheels for my 99 FRC. Having trouble getting something other than Goodyear Supercar F1's. Tirerack here said they can install a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport(Ultra High Performance Summer) Is this something worth having. I have a set of brand new set of Goodyear Supercar F1's on my chrome FRC rims and they are nice but kind of loud. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Position's also called a High Performance tire. Got about 9,000 miles on them, still have 9/32nds on them, came with 11/32nds. I think they are a great tire for all year driving. They grip well and are very quite on the highway at any speed. I wanted quite tires. I would get another set if I had it to do over again.
Michelin PS2's are available in C5 Z06 sizes on Tire Shelf's site. Not sure why they don't associate them with that car. It's what I'm looking at for my car this year.
Actually just did some more reading and searching through Tire Shelf's site and it turns out their testing showed the Continental ExtremeContact DW to be a better tire then the Michelin. And to boot they 4 pounds lighter each in the front and 1 pound lighter each in the rear. Saves ten pounds and $446.

I just purchased: 275/40/17 295/35/18 Vredestein Tires for my 1998 C5. This is my second time putting Vredestein Tires and I believe you can't get a better tire for the money. They cost me $800 shipped for all four and another $45 to install. Many tests out on these tires and I have found one which has it better than the F1s and one which has it second behind the F1s. I purchased them on Ebay...
