So you want info on the fan, or the blower motor?

It's under the passenger side closout panel. Drop the panel, and you'll see it. The case is hot all the time, so disconnect the battery, if you don't want a mishap.

Default Did mine Friday

Just replaced mine yesterday, pretty straight forward as stated remove the access panel on the passenger side as well as fuse box cover (the carpeted panel not the box itself).

There are 3 bolts holding the blower motor and fan. They were 6 mm in my 2000.

The motor has a 2 prong plug on the back side on the driver side.
Simply have to lift the retainer and pull to remove it. I removed the plug before the bolts that way the motor and fan will come out. easier You may have to wiggle it a little to break the gasket loose.

When installing the new one do one bolt at a time until they "grab" then do the next, do NOT tighten them completely until all three have been started as you may need to rotate the position sightly to align

Looks just like this!!

Remove the rubber cooling hose and squirt some oil in the lower bearing and see if that quiets it down Save a few bucks!
