You might want to consider the cam Charlie put in my car I think he now calls it his ZZ530X cam. You will love it.

only SVO 30s for peace of mind Id pick up a set of 36 or 42's they go for about the same price.

I had SVO 30s on my old LT1 at 315rwhp they were at like 75% duty cycle, although with LS fuel pressure im sure they are closer to 35#

Nice setup tho!

svo 30's are 36lbs on our cars. I'm pretty sure they are fine for mid to high 400's. I dont track my car much either. I looked up max on them and they hit 100% around closer to 500whp

the diff is the lobes on your cam are xfi but it really wont change much i have seen both cams make about the same power 415-430whp on stock ls6 heads and intake. I love the power curve of your car tough! I hope that mine has that nasty midrange torque like yours does!

Great looking component list. I guess about 460/430 RWHP/TQ after tuning.

I have simular mods on my 02 ZO6. Here are some of the things that I used that made the job nicer:

ARP Head studs. FANTASTIC!
ARP Damper bolt.
MAP Relocation Kit
Side Pinned the damper to the crank
Melling High Volume pump
LS2 Timing chain

I used 42 lb/hr injectors and home ported my own FAST90 and 90 mm TB. I also used caddy racing lifters with my whiplash cam.

450 RWHP on the back street dyno at the Cruise In down in Bowling Green KY

Its not really that big of a cam. They make a LOT bigger now. Infact, with a goot tune it pretty streetable.

Cool I have to worry about the smog tests down hear now so this cam is about as big as you can go. I still think i can get some good numbers with this setup. I have the small odds and ends parts to get still then its time to rock and roll.

I have to pass the CT Emissions test. Its about as strict as they come for a plug in test. I pass with flying colors. I don't even have any of my emissions flags tuned out..

Do you get a sniffer test or a OBDII plug in test???

You are correct and yes top end will be similar but like you mentioned look at my torque curve. I looked at both lobes with Charlie and I am very happy I went XFI. On the street the torque is great. If I ran a FAST setup I would probably hit 450rwhp with all the streetability of the lower duration cam.

Thank you for the info. I think the 59cc milled heads helps a lot on your torque too. Ryan L on here had your cam on stock 243 and it is a little soft until about 3500. But I have taken it into account on the lobes.
