Ok guys, I started the poll about the exhaust systems out there.... Now here's your chance to cast a vote for your favorite H-pipe! :)
Also, please give details about the installation. Did you have to cut the stock pipes? How were the mfg's instructions? All pieces/parts included? Would you buy it again?
I'm getting close to a decision on my exhaust and from everything I read, it looks like an H-pipe is a pretty good thing to install.
There aren't any aftermarket H pipes.... Corvettes come from the factory with H-pipes. There are X pipes however, but not really a difference between brands, expensive one require cutting on one side, cheap ones require cutting on both sides.
I recently installed the Magnaflow X-pipe and have had the Corsa Indy exhaust for quite a while. The Magnaflow got rid of the motorboat burble and and the sound is much smoother at idle. The interior resonance is a little louder but the full throttle scream is not as loud as it used to be. I definitely feel a seat of the pants improvement concerning torque, though. I feel it is worth the money and the quality is excellent! [IMG][/IMG] :smash:
Looks like the Magnaflow X-pipe is a clear winner! Anyone have a sound file of this system, possibly with the Magnaflow cat-back installed too?? Why was this x-pipe sooo popular?
