Cleaning grounds..
IF i am cleaning my grounds--do i need to remove negative at battery??-How many guyes-have replaced original connector boxes with one big eyelet for piece of mind--thanks for reading--walter-out..

Yes you should disconnect the battery.
YES you can cut off the pain in the *** POS connector and contain all the wires in a single eyelet. Just make sure that you SOLDER the wires in the eyelet!!
It would look JUST LIKE the 05 to present C6 ground connector.
YEP! GM wised up and realized some engineer had there head up his butt when he designed that crap.

As always Bill is absolutely correct. I did this mod on my 2000 and got rid of all the TC/AH occasional faults. I’ve been driving it for about six months now with not a single random fault. Best spent time and easy job.
