Found it. It goes between the purple/white and white/black wire.

I realize that this is an old post, but if you go to www.mouser.com you can get pretty much every resister value listed.

I ordered a 9.53K ohm = 9530 Ohms for my #14 key. it was 19 cents.. plus shipping..
Its 0.1% tolerance and 1/4 watt - which is more than enough for the vats bypass..

Default VATS bypass

I received purchased the Gator Bypass Module and installed it. The hardest part was locating the VATS wire which was under the kick panel hanging below the ignition. It had to white wires in a black shrink tube. Once I found them all I had to do was turn the correct switch on inside the module, connect the module to the wires going to the PC (i chose to splice them and solder them together as the plugs that came with it weren't correct). I then put the key in the ignition and turned it on and cleared the codes. After turning it on and off a few times i checked and no code was displayed. Then i turned the key and it started. It has started everytime since and has ceased giving me any issues highly recommend the module for those who aren't able to get their hands on the correct transistors. I paid $39 for mine and took two days for delivery.
