Let me just say this is my first Corvette so please excuse me.
Anyway, last nite the service traction control, service abs, and service active handling (or something like that) displayed. With the ignition on, I held options down and press fuel 4 times and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
When you press each button seperately, do they do what they were designed to do?
If the answer is YES, try to DISCONNECT the battery for 10-15 min. Reconnect it (Make sure that you clean the terminals and torque the terminals to 11 FT/LBS) See if that gets you anywhere. Its fixed stuborn IPS and BCM issue on other peoples C5 & C6.
thats what I did and I got nothing. Can try again tomorrow.
Sometimes its in how you hit the fuel button. I had a friend who couldn't get the diagnostics to display. After he tried several times I got in the car and got them to display the first time I tried.
Try again and make sure you are depressing and holding the options button and not letting up on it a little bit. Then make sure you fully depress the fuel button 4 times.
Also, if your door is open and it is displaying "door ajar" hit reset and it'll clear to the normal display. Then just hold options and hit fuel 4 times one after the other and it'll come up.
didnt get a chance to play with it tonite. When I push reset, should the display clear? I hear a clicking sound when reset is pressed but the display does not clear.
All messages must be acknowledged first or else I don't think it'll work....door open and etc...push and hold the options button then touch the fuel button 4 or 5 times within 5 seconds or so.
