Same gear acceleration noise? (video)
I have an 01 ZO6. When I am driving in almost any gear and I let off and then accelerate without down shifting it makes a fast raspy clanging noise and it sounds like it is coming from underneath the shifter. It is not terribly loud but you can definitely hear it. Hopefully the video helps. If anyone can help me find the problem if there is a problem that would be great. Maybe this is normal I'm not sure, this is the first 6spd Corvette I have ever owned.

Sounds like an exhaust noise. What exhaust system do you have and what MID PIPE do you have?
Doesnt sound serious to me. See if you can jack up the car and use your fist or rubber mallet and aggetate the exhaust system and see if you hear any noises.
