Default Airbox

Have 2001 coupe, just wondering should the airbox be very loose, seems that the rubber mounts that hold it down are loose & I can toucn the airbox & move it easily, should it be tighter.

Should be very tight. I remember it was tough to even get mine out when I put the Blackwing in. :seeya

The airbox should be very tight, with the front pins it sits in and the straps that go over the top of the box.

Might want to check that the grommets haven't come off of any of the mounting posts. When I changed my airbox at least one of them popped off and had to be pushed back into place. Otherwise if all posts are engaged and the straps are down, she doesn't move.

The rubber gromets on the front of the box should fit tight over the the studs on the frame but it is normal for the MAF end of the box to move up and down easily.
