hVAC finally fixed!!!!
First of all, I want to thank everyone on the forum for trying to help me.
All of the infor was good, but I did not know that the guy who installed my new compressor, dryer and orifice tube was not so good. After 6 months of dinkering with this, I took it to Corvette World , here in Dallas, and they went through the system. I think the big issue was that the guy who replaced everything put the orifice tube in backwards (the mechanic said he did not know that was possible) and it was plugged up, (hopefully from the old system, that was not cleaned out before the install) Drove it today in the mid 80's and I had, for the first time, cold air!!!! Wow! I can't tell you how many bad nights I had thinking I was going to have to tear the dash apart to replace the evaporator! I can only say, its nice to have someplace like Corvette World around! Moral of the story, find the best place to have your work done if its something you can't do, this would have been taken care of the first time if I had just taken it there. Great Forum!
