Fault Code HELP!!
I'm having some strange codes coming up on my 2000 C5 Convertible and I'm looking for some help and direction. I just got a fault saying "Service ride control, shocks inoperative, maximum speed 128 k/m". When I pull up the DIC codes I show 7 codes in the 38RTD section but the codes that are listed don't match any on the list I have. They are c0577, c0579, c0582, c0589, c0592, c0594, and c0691. The car seems to run fine but I am baffled. HELP!!!
Thanks Folks, Albertaflash1

They will give you the best service and the best price on a new module.
If it were me,,, I would get rid of that pathetic excuse of a handling system and install some real shocks and sway bars. You can bolt some C6 ZO6 shocks right in without ANY issues. Some C6 Z-51 sway bars from Gene will hook the car to the road. You will need a CROW BAR to pry the grin off your face.. The C6 Z shocks new for all four are $250.
Gene has a ready to bolt on C6 sway bar package ready to ship. It all fits like OEM C5!!
As for the F-45 system, you can find a shop or the dealer and have that system RPO programmed right out of the BCM. BAM,,, NO MORE DTCs, messaged or issues.
What leads you to believe that the ECS Module is BAD?? Did you check the GROUND WIRE? It's a stud and nut with a single wire with an eyelet terminal and it will be in the passengers wheel well on the frame. It will look something like this:

Note.. The stud on my car broke off so I replaced it with a self tapping screw!
