Default Fault Code HELP!!

Hello Everyone,
I'm having some strange codes coming up on my 2000 C5 Convertible and I'm looking for some help and direction. I just got a fault saying "Service ride control, shocks inoperative, maximum speed 128 k/m". When I pull up the DIC codes I show 7 codes in the 38RTD section but the codes that are listed don't match any on the list I have. They are c0577, c0579, c0582, c0589, c0592, c0594, and c0691. The car seems to run fine but I am baffled. HELP!!!
Thanks Folks, Albertaflash1

Start by checking minifuse #5 &7, and maxifuse #51 in the underhood fuse box.

Thank you, Lucky 131969. I checked the fuses and all is good. Cleared the codes and went for a spin. Same warning appeared and same codes came back on the DIC. Thanks for your help though,

Given that you have codes for all four shocks, and for the relay circuit, it suggests that there is an issue with the relay(or associated wiring), or the ESC has gone south. You'll need a meter, to do voltage and ground checks.

Thanks again, Lucky 131969, I am a Journeyman Refrigeration service mechanic so I do have a meter and can read schematics, so i will look for any anomolies but just to be clear, the code numbers I stated beginning with "C" in my first post, relate to the shocks and the relay circuit?? Thanks again for the info, Albertaflash1

The shocks are all showing a circuit failure, but the relay provides 12 volts to the shocks.....and the relay circuit is showing a specific code, which tells me there has to be a common denominator.....all the shocks could not have failed.....

DTC C0577 Left Front Solenoid Circuit Low
DTC C0579 Left Front Solenoid Circuit Open
DTC C0582 Right Front Solenoid Circuit Low
DTC C0589 Left Rear Solenoid Circuit Open
DTC C0592 Right Rear Solenoid Circuit Low
DTC C0594 Right Rear Solenoid Circuit Open
DTC C0691 Damper Control Relay Circuit Range

Good Afternoon Corvette Lovers, Just checking to see if any of you have any ideas where to get pricing and availability on an ESC module for a 2000 Corvette. I've done some checking around in Canada and I'm wondering if the pricing is right or am I getting ripped off!! Need your input. Thanks everyone,

Check forum vendors GM Parts House or Parts Taxi. Their web sites can provide you with a good price to use for comparison. Don't know if there are issues with getting the part into Canada if you ordered from them.

WELL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, If your getting your prices from a STEALERSHIP,,, there going to be REALLY whacked out. If, you need a solid price on a new unit, call or contact Gene Culley or Patrick www.gmpartshouse.com.

They will give you the best service and the best price on a new module.

If it were me,,, I would get rid of that pathetic excuse of a handling system and install some real shocks and sway bars. You can bolt some C6 ZO6 shocks right in without ANY issues. Some C6 Z-51 sway bars from Gene will hook the car to the road. You will need a CROW BAR to pry the grin off your face.. The C6 Z shocks new for all four are $250.

Gene has a ready to bolt on C6 sway bar package ready to ship. It all fits like OEM C5!!

As for the F-45 system, you can find a shop or the dealer and have that system RPO programmed right out of the BCM. BAM,,, NO MORE DTCs, messaged or issues.

What leads you to believe that the ECS Module is BAD?? Did you check the GROUND WIRE? It's a stud and nut with a single wire with an eyelet terminal and it will be in the passengers wheel well on the frame. It will look something like this:

Note.. The stud on my car broke off so I replaced it with a self tapping screw!

Bill Curlee, Thanks a lot, just checking costs as when I took the car in for the spring maintenance they quoted me a price of $1917.00 plus tax, if that was the problem, and $1200.00 a shock if it was the suspension!! They got really pissed when I reviewed the codes with them and asked them to explain their reasoning. LOL. Thanks to all the great info folks. Albertaflash1

YIKES!!! That is borderline robbery for that repair. I'd be glad to help you in any way I can, and we do ship to Canada on a daily basis, so no problems there.
Thanks
Kevin
