Simple question - how in the heck do you revove the side screws from the EBCM? I have a 2002 and get a constant code for the active handling and ABS and assume the EBCM is bad. I want to remove it and have it rebuilt. I have removed the four front screws but can't figure any way to get to the side screws. I can't even see them and nothing seems to fit in the small spaces on either side. I have reviewed the previous posts on this and none seems to give any tips for getting to and removing the side screws. Question no. 2, why are these screws even necessary. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

yea, there are 6 screws total...2 top of unit, 2 in the middle (the ones you refer to the side?) and 2 on the bottom. the 2 in the middle are kinda set back a little.. if you get your hand and run it along the side you'll be able to feel them, also if you have one of those little mirror tools if will help in that search, can't speak on the necessity of those 2 screws other than to make our lives more interesting.
