Help! idle problems
Just got my 2000 mn6 coupe back together today.....mods done today include ported heads,227/234 comp cam on 112 lsa,rk sport long tubes w no cats,ls6 manifold,vortex rammer and custom programing done by fastchips(done off spec sheet).....my car starts and idles fine(950 rpms).....but when you pull out and drive down the road,it doesn't want to idle when you stop. shut it off and restart the engine and it idles fine again....anyone have any ideas as to why my car doesn't want to idle?........also when you go wot, the service active handling message flashes on the dic....shut it off and restart and it is fine also....any ideas guys?

This is common on a heads/cam car. I have a 224/224/112 (Comp cam), before my computer reprogram the warmer the engine the less it wanted to idle. Your re-programming should have taken care of this problem though, better have a talk with Fastchips. Another option is to drill a small hole in the center of the butterfly in the throttle body.

Update......took it down to have the exhausts hooked up this morning, and the car has been letter perfect all day.....I had a custom x-pipe placed right against the headers and the car already had flowmasters on it when I bought it.....what a sound!.......it sets and lopes like a race car at idle,then wails like a banshee at wot.....damn, I love this car!!!
