I used Dupli color, Red. I had no problems and it has held up well for over a year. I used the brush on kit from Autozone. I would get another bottle of brake cleaner though. For the fronts, I rubbed some chap stick on the Corvette letters then scraped the paint off with a utility blade when dry. You can then sand the letters with fine grit sandpaper (600 I think it was)

Duplicolor blue. Got the kit on sale for $4 and its one of the best looking visual upgrades ive made on the car as well as the cheapest. Did mine recently but i know it will hold up for a long time, still have 3/4 of the paint left to do future coats if i want to.
I did not cover the letters with anything and just used a razor blade to easily scrape the paint off after drying.

Oh, used VHT black for my rotors and that really helped clean up the look inside the wheels

g2usa.com is the only way to go. I had them color match my spiral gray and bought a red kit. The color match is spot on with my car color and its a high gloss finish you just brush it on your calipers and its very easy. Comes with brake cleaner and a brush but I recommend buying a paint brush kit to do it yourself. My brake calipers look amazing even after 2 years. There is no chips and they still look brand new. Do not buy from anywhere else or you will be disappointed.

I have a Mag Red II (2002). I used Rustoleum, that I bought at Lowe's for around $8 for I think a quart (enough to do them a couple dozen times), and brushed it on. I'm at work, and can't remember the exact name, but there are 2 colors that are very close and I went with the darker of the 2. It went on very easily, matches perfectly, and looks great after being on for about a year...

Don't want to hijack the thread but how do you guys mask off the "Corvette" writing on the front calipers?

another strong vote for G2.

its a 2 part epoxy paint, very durable and high gloss. mine has been on the car for 4 years now and still looks like the day they were painted

regular solvent spray cans don't have the same durability as a 2 part paint. that is also why they are cheaper.

I used VHT Caliper paint and they are great looking, no peeling of flaking, I just took the rotors off, cleaned them, and painted the whole rotor, the brakes took off the paint for me!
I painted my calipers also with VHT, I put vasoline on the letters and the paint didn't stick, just wiped off! I recomend taking the calipers off instead off all that taping! just my .02
