Exhaust system. Help please.

Whats the best exhaust system for my 2001 Z06. I bought it and it came with flowmasters and a x pipe with 2 and half inch pipes but it is still not loud......what should I do and what is a good, loud, gives power exhaust for my car. Is Magnaflow a good brand?

Please help.

Magnaflow's a great brand, but unless you're getting their straight pipe setup, their standard catback is very mild. Get the GHL Magnums.

LT headers will really change the sound and actually net you horse power which makes it all worth it!

If you want loud, go with bullet type or straight pipe. Magnaflow is a little louder than stock.

cutouts. cheaper & the noise is reversible. i can't believe i'm actually endorsing a quiet-when-you-want-it exhaust, but it turns out to be kinda nice sometimes

Drove behind club members car. It is a 2004 Z06 that has Billy Boat exhaust and it sounds great. Not a loud exhaust, just a great sound. He thought it was factory.

B&B Bullets hands down the most AWESOME sound ever! deeepest sounding exhaust you can get, just a tad quieter than straight pipes.

If you want loud AND a good sound, go with them...Stingers are also really nice but are a notch down in sound from the Bullets

personally I like My B&B PRT's perfect fit......
incredible finish and.....not loud unless get on it...little to no drone

I have B&B bullets on mine and when I put on longtubes it was so loud the wife wont even ride in it anymore. I am looking at selling the bullets for something a little milder.
