one thing that is missing in the pics is a sparco red metal horn button surround
I had to purchase one because the horn button kept falling out. the surround fixed this issue and also dressed up the steering wheel a tad.

Weird ... why did NRG tell me that they won't have a C5 suitable quick release until the 2nd quarter of 2012 ?! I ended up ordering an different one from LTB. We love our NRG Quick Release that we have on one of our track Miata's.

Anyone have any problems loosening the Torx 27 screws holding the air bag pod onto the steering wheel? I was trying to loosed one and it immediately stripped out the head ribs? Going to take it over to Guildstrands now to have them deal with it. :-(

Mine were fine. Accessibility was terrible though. I just used a small ratchet with extension and a proper torx socket

...also, is the NRG quick release made useless by the horn button wiring? would a simple spacer be just as effective?

The Sparco hub seems to cover the hole in the column pretty well from the looks of it. I don't really want to shell out the cash for the ATI kit and then have to dremel the console trim to make the trim plate work. I want a Momo wheel. Will that Sparco hub work with the Momo wheel, or does the Momo hub do a good job covering the hole as well?

why does my sparco hub look different than the one in your pic? What hub is the one you are using?
