Look for a cracked rim or leakage at the valve stem
Have had both on my wagon wheels. Slow leak turned out to be a cracked rim only found when taking wheel off the car.
Use water and you will see bubbles whether at the bead or at the valve.
When replacing tires had a leaky core in the TPMS. Can also get a leak from the nut that tightens the TPMS into the wheel.
Use water. You will see it. If no tank use a garden hose with slow flow and try the beads first. then go around the tire to make sure nothing leaking there.
Took it to Discount Tire, they didn't do any good.
Ended up with a new tire at there expense.
Still have a slow leak.
Is there a fix short of new rims ?
Not sure if it's the bead or something else.
Rim Leak- I was a bit afraid to respond
Have you identified whether the leak is where the tire beads( seats) or is it a crack in the rim? My son's Volvo had a leak around where the tire beads/seats - and Discount Tires used a power brush to clean up the wheel rim's inner lip ( I know- these terms are ) That stopped the leak - Good Luck !
If the chrome is coming off on the inside, you can have a tire shop put some special sealant in there but frankly, it'll start happening again. The only fix at that time will be either having it re-chromed or replaced. I just went through this with mine...ended up a new wheel was cheaper than having it re-chromed...but from only one place with the less expensive new rim
