I had to get my 2002 C5 Convertible towed home the other day. I had driven it a few miles and parked for about 10 minutes, then when I went to restart it it seemed like all the power was getting cut off each time I turned the key all the way (to try and engage the starter). The starter did not try to turn over the motor, and I could not hear the solenoid click. The battery is brand new as this happened once or twice a few weeks ago, but after a few tries would eventually start. Anyway, I tried hooking the battery up to another car via jumper cables just in case my "new" battery was bad but nothing changed. I checked all the fuses I could think of in the passenger footwell area and next to the battery but didn't see any blown ones. I tried cleaning my key chip too. I wanted to try to hit the starter with a hammer but didn't have my jack and couldn't reach in far enough. I did run some diag. codes and showed these (but I'm not sure what to conclude based on them). I cross referenced them to a table I found online.
