Default Removing/replacing washer fluid line

I've had a leaking issue from my washer fluid for a while & finally got around to investigating. Looks like the tank is fine other than a shot fluid level sensor, but the main issue is a cracked washer fluid line running up under that plastic cowl cover. I've played with the cover a bit but struggling with how to get it off from the plastic washer plugs that hold it down. Any tricks to this so I don't break it? Also, to replace the washer fluid lines that go to the spray nozzles, any tricks there to know about? I suppose I should buy these from dealership or online vs autoparts store, but anyone who has done this please inform me of best way. I searched this topic but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

I have done this:

keep only the "nipples" of the washers (the part that water sprays out)....pull them off from the plastic hoses, and replace those hoses with the same gauge rubber hose (found in PEP BOYS)....

there are 2 hoses, you should cut one short length for the drivers side and longer one for passenger....really easy to do, all you have to do is cut the new rubber hose to the desired length, and connect one end to the wiper pump tank, and the other 2 to the nipples. Use zip-tie on the part connected to the wiper pump tank.

hope this helps , sorry don't have pics!

Thanks! Though I still am not sure how to get that plastic cowl off which covers up the wiper motor area since these plastic lines run under it. Also the adaptor/splitter that is on the line coming from the washer fluid reservoir has broken off. do they have that as well at the auto store or is this a gm thing?

Raise the hood. Theres 5 clips you need a small flat blade screwdriver to get out, and it lifts right out. You might need to tug a little toward the front of the car and up at the same time, but its no biggie.
