Default 97-2000 brake modules?

Will all ebcm modules from 1997-2000 interchange?

Bit confused and cannot find that post that lists the numbers of the modules.

I DO NOT have active handling and just FE1 suspension.

Wanting to purchase one and I want to be sure.

Thanks,Matt

Recommend that you contact Gene Culley. www.gmpartshouse.com If anyone knows, he will. He has all the cross reference info.

What ever you find out, please post the results.

Good luck

Bill

Default confused?

Ok,called spoke with Gene Culley.I told him I wanted to confirm the numbers that ICUALL posted for me.Just because I am wanting to purchase the right USED brake module, and not just throw money at it.I said,Can you confirm these numbers for me?He said it wouldn't do me any good because they all have different part numbers? He was not interested in doing that I guess.

BUT,he did say that 1998's did not have active handling as an option.

I wasn't buying from him, just wanted info....conversation was very short.

I know he is a Great vendor but,I was just surprised by him not even giving me a option to compare the numbers .I have always read how great of a job he does with everyone.

Probably less than 1 min. on the phone with him.

Thank you ICUALL,

Matt

Default ok

Thats ok,,I just bought a pump and module from another forum member.Hopefully, this one is better than mine! LOL.That won't take much!
Getting the entire unit,so I will have a spare to use in case the whole thing goes poo poo.If this one fails,I will try to send it out to one of the folks that rebuild them, providing it doesn't get that same code,(c1255).

Unless your ACTUALLY getting the DTC for a stalled EBTCM motor,,, or have a problem with one of the internal poppet valves,,, I find it a big waste of time to replace the BPMV. Its timely, messy and heavily maintenance involved with bleeding and testing.

Most of the time, the problem is a sensor input or external wiring issue. By swapping in your spare electronics module,,, you will rapidly know if it resolves the issue..

Default yes

Yes Bill, that is the plan.I am just swapping in the Brake module. He has the entire unit for a good price IMO so I will just keep the main unit for a spare.I paid $250 for the whole thing.

Hopefully it ships soon, being the holiday weekend ,it may be a few days.
I am just glad to find that used module.
