There's a list of things I wouldn't buy used, belts, bulbs, wiper blades and shock absorbers.
Depending on how the car was driven they may last longer then 50,000 miles but for the time and effort to replace them versus the relatively low cost to purchase new ones why bother?

By 50,000 miles, they're total junk.

Your car sits at a nice height. The C6Z06 shocks not raise it any? Or did you have to lower it more than just stock bolts?

It's been down on stock bolts for 5 yrs or so.
The new shocks raised the car a little (1/4 in)maybe, but it settled down after 300 miles or so.No diff in height now BUT handles lot's better.

Bilstein Sports are another option - a little pricier but still not expensive at around $340 for all four corners.

See Gene at GMPartshouse.....don't buy used brake parts or shocks.
