Mid America Splash Guards question
Has anybody installed the Mid America Performance Choice
Slash Guards on a C5? Either the black ABS or smoke lexan.
From reading the installation instruction on MAM web site it sounds like
the front guards install using existing screws without drilling any new holes. The rear guards (behind the rear tire) require the drilling of two1/4" holes.
Do those holes go in the black inner fender liner or are they drilled into
the painted part of the fiberglass fender?
I would like to avoid drilling holes in the fiberglass fender.
If they are drilled into the fiberglass fender are they well into the lip inside the wheel well where they wouldn't be conspicous if you were to remove the guards at some later time?
One set of guards that I returned would have required drilling one hole
at the outer edge of the lip near the corner of the lip and the fender.
