Very tall lift with large duration

most likely your pistons will need to be checked for clearance and fly cut

as is not likely to fit

Default called comp cams

I called comp cams and they said I wont have a problem with this cam as long as I get double springs and new pushrods it should be fine...since it is their cam and I dont trust the people who sell their own products I am a little skeptical so....help?

You will HAVE to check PTV clearance, it's going to be very tight. If it were my car, I would flycut when installing that cam with stock pistons no matter what the PTV numbers are.

No offense, but if you have to ask that question, you should take your car to a trusted shop for the install.

My personal opinion: Cam is too big for the street, car will run like A$$.

There are a lot of proven cams. Not sure what you are looking for but that cam will likely be too tight on PTV (well below minimums) and with no power until 4,500 RPM or so, below that is will likely suck. Have you run the overlap numbers, etc?

mmmm i agree but people run the MS4 on the street and obviously depending how WELL it is tuned, they run fine.

That depends on your definition of "fine". With everything else stock, that cam will require at least 3.73 gears to make it marginally livable, IMO. I assume you have a 6-spd? If you want to make more usable power, then get a cam that's about 228 or so duration, preferably a 224-228 @ 112 so you can have a nice lope, which I figure is something important to you. And keep the lift under .600, unless you plan on doing much more extensive mods.

MS4 has less duration and it doesn't meet PTV minimums, you you better plan on flycutting.

i dont have the MS4 bc its just too much cam as most of you all stated. Wether it can be tuned or not, i just dont believe it is a really good street cam. I have the 233/239 on a 113 and yes i am a 6spd

You sure??? I know a few guys cars my mechanic has installed the MS4 and flycutting wasnt needed. ITS CLOSE but it makes the cut. An 03ZO6 he tuned laid down 440/380. (wasnt surprised on the tq side) That being said he wont feel jack in his rpm band until almost 4k rpms
