Neverenuf,Snowman stated in another post that you now have an MTI 422,you previously had an ARE 422 if I'm not mistaken, why the change????
If he did switch from one 422 to the other ... that would be completely crazy wouldnt it? Both work great and I think it would be useless to switch unless you have MONEY to blow!

Well, just had a long talk with Jason(MTI). He has my motor all apart and wanted to know what we needed to do next, along with our "other" project. I have made the decision to sell the ZO7. The car is so nice, I cannot make the decision to put a automatic in or cut it up. I have several other projects getting done, and have put a deposit on a 360 Modena today. I will build another C5 soon, just don't want to cut up the ZO7. I have some people interested already, but if anyone else is interested, please e-mail me. At this stage, the car will have a completely fresh motor, with a couple of "new" improvements. It will still remain a true 9 sec car, but totally streetable. It hurts me to sell it, after all, it will remain to be the first 6sp C5 in the nines.
NewVetteLover: If you look at sW's stable and the fact that he's buying a Ferrari 360 Modena, I don't think money is a big problem with SW.
SW: Good Luck on selling one VERY  ride! Can't wait to see what's in store.
Oh ... I know that ... the question was stated that Neverenuf ... had bought a ARE 422 engine and then swapped it for a MTI 422 ... and that is what I would call crazy .... buying cars and modifying them is great ... but getting a 422 replaced by another 422(assuming that the engine is working) is nuts in my eyes ... otherwise ... I know SW has got to be fairly wealthy to buy any Ferrari ... (which he will probably get into the 9's) ...
all of just are just not that lucky ... if I were ... I would get all of those cars too ....
This from a man who wont keep an engine for longer than a year ...
Good Luck on the Ferrari ... post pics when you get it .... someday I hope to put a car into the 9's ... my car *only* runs low 11's .. (which will change after I put it on slicks) ... good luck ... and happy hunting for a Ferrari and the Ford ...
