I have been holding off on telling everyone about the car because I've had several people interested. The price is $59000. This is with a fresh motor. Like I stated before, we took it apart to figure out what to do next, but I decided to sell. I also have changed the transmission to the ZO6 (m12) and heavy duty torque tube, billet stub axle, new clutch ect. The car itself has 9k miles, wetokle seat covers, bose CD, RK sport hood, euro tailights ect. It has the ZO6 forged wheels on it now.

The silver one I had a deposit on, turn out to be a F1. I'm still looking for the right 6spd. I'm in no rush, I will find one. I have already ordered the lowering springs for it. :D

So, um, SW, how many cubic inches can you stroke a Ferrari motor to anyway...

I'm sure you have ample resources to locate a car for you, but I have a contact at Ferrari of Washington (D.C.) if you want me to make a call for you. Let me know.

SW...

Kind of weird but in the summers, I work at the Leake Auction Company here in Tulsa. I know the Leake's personally and have always loved helping out at the auction. Anyways, I am a spotter... I check in and park the cars. I get to drive some of the most expensive and most exotic cars in the world... they actually pay me!

To my point... check this out:

http://www.leakecarauction.com/line_...ULSA02&LOT=508

This is at this years auction (first week of June). 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 R Code... 428 Cobra Jet, 4 carb, 4 speed.... AND it is at no reserve. Some of these cars go for SO little. Just FYI... :)

SW,

I put a note in my post back in the string saying I'd be interested in seeing what "realistic" meant, but had 2nd thoughts and took it out later cause I thought it might have sounded poopiety and didn't mean it to.

59k is MORE than realistic IMHO. It is a steal. Now we need to just find someone who has the juice to connect up. Way to go!

I'm leaning towards more the 69 Camaro route at the moment. Have the one with the 502 that you know about. Have my eye on 3 cars at the moment to add one more "original" car to my stable either a Z28 or an SS396. Can't wait to see your Mach1 when you get it. May have to watch Steve McQueen again this weekend in Bullett....unique sound! YEAA!

SW,

I must admit 59K seems like a very good deal. Especailly for anyone considering buying a Z06 and then going through the same level of mods.

Anyway, I for one have always enjoyed watching you projects. A few that come to mind over the years are:

The Yellow 84 C4 with the carb'd SBC. That car sounded mean.
The Black Lowered 1989 or 90 C4 I saw that car on videotape from an auto-X. If memory serves me it was a 383 6spd car.
The 928S4 with motor and exhaust work. Car had a very very unique sound to it and would RPM like crazy.

Of course all your current stuff has a high drool factor to it also. Anyway, enjoy the 360. I'm sure it won't be long before you have a "kit" on it and some serious mods...

Anyway, my hat is off to you and your toys. Just one quick question in passing. Since you race the white FRC as much as anyone else that I have seen that races their Vette I was wondering if you could answer a couple of quick questions.

What size rims front and rear are you running. Also, what do you have the ride height set at front and rear. Have you noticed any issues with the car as low as it is. I just wondered if once you got the car that low if the A-Arm geometry would be off and it would mess with the handling. Thanks...

SW,
Why is your C5 called a Z07?Was that not a C4 suspension option?
So that title really belongs to the C4-am I right?
I just had the pleasure of seeing a red 360 and it was awesome.
Look forward to seeing you drag race at the ZR1 convention.

J-Rod, I'm running CCW 18x10f 18x11.5 rear. I'm not sure about the ride height with the CCW wheels. I changed the shocks and bump stops so the car has plenty of travel, seems to work fine, handles flat. Thanks again.

01 GT, I call it the ZO7 because of the 7.0 litre motor.

Pictures of motor question SW after running nines in a nitrous car; it would be very interesting to see if any cylinder scratches and stuff after for longevity. Is it possible? If not oh well. Good luck selling. You still sux in a good kind of way! ie: Z07, Modena too!!

SW.. were your 9's run with the M12 and 3.73 rear gears and 150 shot? Just wondering if the trans was a new mod and if it helped or hurt your performance vs. the M6.. given your 3.73's...

Also, is your car tubbed to fit the 11.5's ? If not, do they fit completely inside the wheelwell? What size tires...?

Will you be selling the Nitrous setup and drag tires/wheels with your car?

All my runs were with the m6 trans. No, my car is not tubbed, I'm running 10.5 ETs. The car comes with the Nitrous set-up and ZO6 forged wheels only, I'm keeping the drag set up.

Gary, I put 20" Boyds on it.
