Default Is this a balancer failure?

Please send some pics of your balancer and belt alighnment

Does this look like it is failing? I put a straight edge on the tensioner pulley and it seems level with the edge of the balancer but I am not sure if the belt on the water pump is suppose to be aligned directly with the balancer grooves?

I have replaced my crank pulley twice already. Both times after chasing down the squeak noise.

So does this pretty much mean i am not having a Balancer failure?

My previous tensioner lines looked something like the following picture.

You will see the notch on the right is about in the the middle of the 2 on the left.

My new pulley the notch is very close to the middle notch on the left.

It seems ok from the pics. The outer ring usually wobbles really bad when they go. Start the car and watch the balancer at idle. It should be more obvious at low RPMs. If it seems steady, you should be fine.

It seems steady. but someone said the belt is off. I have to go look if the belt on the water pump is lined up with the balancer or if it just looked off due to camera angle.

I have had the valves replaced in the past so it is bot the original.

I changed the belt and tensioner out due to the belt coming off.
Someone else suggested a pulley misalignment causing the belt issue

I need antic of someones tensioner to compare the notch marks to

The front face of the hub and outer ring look lined up.

The notch really doesn't matter as long as the spring is applying tension to the belt.

Well why are they there then? I would think it is suppose to show you the tolerance of the spring and when it isnstarting to fall out of tolerance and fail.
