Just answering a few questions:
Norm: RWHP was 478 @ 6200rpm with converter locked, on the 9.25 run the tune in there was around 775rwhp; on the last run(.15 faster to the 1/8th) we did make 856rwhp. OH, great numbers by the way on your car(s)!!

IH8PONYS: On the last pass the car spun quite a bit(listen the rpm rise off the line) and shifted out to 2nd about 30 feet out(just before the tree!) this is way too early. We have the lockup on a timer and set it to come on earlier due to the bigger hit(No2), if you listen close you can hear the car shift 3rd and then immediately attempt to lock the converter(we set it way too early/spinning off the line may have set it off a bit to). If you look at the first run the converter was locked way after the 2-3 shift and is proper.

We are guessing that with the added line pressure and locking the conv. too early put lots of strain on the converter and blew it appart internally! The converter is trash? The vent tube for the trans is right over the exhaust in the back and just pushed oil out to make a mess and lots of smoke, we think there may have been a line leak at the back as well. I thought we had hurt the engine but was still running fine(I think you can still hear it in the vid.?) We did a quick engine check and seems to be fine? converter is need of repair but the rest of the trans seem fine. We are still playing with the lockup part of things with the car and learned we can't turn it on that early at this power level

555ciC4: I didn't take the vid. so not sure why the film was cut from the burnout to the line? I don't even know who took it? Everyone has there own oppinion on things and respect your thoughts to a point, I think it would be a shame to stop people from this right. We are just posting info from when we go to the track testing which is interesting to some on this board, we have never(anyone that works for ARE) compared our stuff to other tunners as we are doing something that others can not do! I encourage the comments and views of all that frequent this board, sometimes it just gets out of hand.

At the race track stuff happens, good or bad you see it here; we are not trying to make it "smell" nicer than it is. It's just the way it is, I am the last guy to say we never have issues at the track! :blueangel:

Still looking for 8's next week :D
