Cd changer not working

Cd changer not working
Found out after I had the car a couple days it even had one. Put a CD in it, that seems to work. The head unit does not see it. It is plugged into a harness at the rear. What else do I need to check?

Tried the reset, that didnt work. Took it to the local stereo store they dont know anything. It has power and seems to load the CD. I have seen online something that there maybe a code for the head unit to make it work. or a fm modulator. but cant find anything else in the car.

Cd changer 12 disc. Do you have a error code on your radio. Also as stated they goe down face down. If the magazine won,t pop up after the door is opened. Use a drill bit plastic for drill bit indicator size. Open the door and slide it down not the top but the side open rear. The relase is their and should release the magazine. It works 90 % of the time. If not you have to take the changer out and open it up. Be very carfull. They rairley need repair or go bad. A hard pot hole or bumb will cuase it. Philly joe
